Let the good news roll
We are inundated with bad news so how about some happier news?
Texas is a great place to live, but we already knew that. You can play on the beaches, go to the mountains, play in the snow and all with out leaving the state. We've got mountains, caves, spas, parks, lakes, rivers ponds, dams, bats, horses, cattles ranches, need I go on.
Drum roll please tat...tat....tat....tat....
-Texas has claimed 5 of the top ten spots in job creation
-Texas #1 in exports (US dept of Commerce)
-Banks in Texas continue to do better during this financial crisis than those in other parts of the country
-More houses being sold than built. Folks we are running out of new home inventory.
-Highest home appreciation, guess where? Texas!!!
There is more but that should be enough to make you feel a little better about living here.
Now back to that housing thing, stop sitting on the fence.
