My new love...
I confess that I am now hooked on blogging. You probably already knew this about yourself and are not surprised. The blogs I have read so far, made me laugh, empathize and wonder what were they thinking.
For instance, I discovered that Realtors are rated in the same category as used car salesmen/women and all we want is your money. I didn't realize that my mission statement had been so far off the mark for so many years. Now that I know, I have to think about this a little bit as I don't want to make too drastic a change.
I must admit I do want the money. How else would I be able to pay my house note, buy food, gas, pay on the school loans and keep my dog in the style she has become accustomed to. ( She does love those pig ears) Selling real estate is more than just getting paid. If I do my job right, I have helped a family put down roots, buy something that they can be proud to live in and invite family and friends to visit, and establish a foundation for wealth building. Do I care? You bet I do. Just like my new love for blogging, I like being a Realtor.
